Hamburger Soup
2 to 2 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup onions
2 cans stewed tomatoes
green pepper to taste
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon celery salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
3 1/2 quarts water
1/2 cup instant rice
Brown meat and onions. Add remaining ingredients except water and rice.
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and add rice. Add meat mixture.
Simmer for 60 to 90 minutes.
