Something to Do with Cherry Tomatoes

1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon dry sherry
1 teaspoon minced fresh dill
1 garlic clove, minced
1-pint basket cherry tomatoes, hulled
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

In the top of a double boiler, over medium heat, combine the butter, sherry, dill and garlic. When the butter has melted, stir in the cherry tomatoes. Cover the double boiler and heat the tomatoes for 10 minutes, stirring gently a few times to coat them with the other ingredients. Test a tomato to make sure it's heated through. Season with salt and pepper, serve immediately. Serves 2 to 3.
