Quick Chocolate Chocolate
Chip Cookies
18 1/4-ounce box chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 cups (12-ounce package) semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped nuts, optional
Combine cake mix, vegetable oil and eggs in large bowl. Stir in chocolate
chips and nuts, if using. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking
sheets.
Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until centers
are just set. Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool. Makes
about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
Chef's tip: For Quick Chocolate Butterscotch Chip Cookies, substitute
2 cups (12-ounce package) butterscotch chips for semisweet chocolate chips.
