Green Surprise
1 3-ounce box lime Jell-O
2 cups boiling water
15 large marshmallows
1 20-ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1/2 pint whipping cream
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Add Jell-O to boiling water, stir well to dissolve. Add marshmallows
and cook on medium heat until dissolved. Add to drained pineapple. Refrigerate
and allow to set partially. Beat cream cheese and whipping cream until
well combined. Add Jell-O mixture and nuts, stirring well. Pour into oiled
Jell-O mold or a mold cake pan. Refrigerate several hours. To unmold, dip
mold in warm water and tip onto serving plate.
