At-Home Cappuccino

 

2 cups skim milk
1 tablespoon sugar
2 cups strong, freshly brewed coffee or espresso
cinnamon or grated chocolate

Place milk in a 2-cup glass measuring cup. In a microwave oven, cook milk on high (100 percent power) until hot, about 2 minutes 20 seconds. Or, in a small saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until hot.

Place hot milk and sugar in a blender container. Cover with a vented lid and blend until frothy, about 1 minute. To serve, divide coffee among four cups. Top each with frothy milk. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Servings 4.
