Mini Kiss Peanut Butter Cookies

 

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cups (10-ounce package) mini Kisses

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheet. In large mixer bowl, beat butter and peanut butter until creamy. Gradually add granulated sugar, beating until well mixed. Add egg and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in Kisses. Drop batter by rounded teaspoonsful onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes about 18 cookies.
