Festive, easy recipe is
a hit
Priscilla Weaver of Hagerstown bakes
about 19 kinds of cookies each year for the holidays. She makes
the hardest ones first. Cherry Chocolate Chip cookies is a fairly
new recipe for Weaver.
"Chocolate chip cookies seem to
be America's favorite cookie. They don't get any easier than
this recipe. For a festive holiday appearance, I use both red
and green maraschino cherries," she wrote.
Weaver, a field editor for Taste of
Home, a national magazine that specializes in foods, says she's
always sharing her favorite cooking recipes.
"This is my part-time job. I like
to bake and give them away," she says.
